Picasso museum: A tribute to Picasso in Antibes
About 55 km
Since the 19th century, a great number of painters have chosen the French Riviera for inspiration, incidence of light and a great palette of colours. For several months, Picasso housed his studio in the Grimaldi castle of Antibes. When leaving the castle, he left a few of his paintings and drawings that can be admired today at the museum dedicated to him. Besides the work of this Spanish painter, the walls of the Picasso museum, housing in the Grimaldi castle, also show works of Nicolas de Staël and modern art.
